I would lie about sneaking food (the start of an eating disorder that blossomed at 16), I would lie about friends to my parents (I’m absolutely wretched at friendship, and I was afraid they would be ashamed of me if they knew I was a loner), I would lie about schoolwork so they thought I was smarter than I am, I would lie about my interests (I didn’t want anybody to judge me), and I would lie about my opinions (mainly to my father, because I was scared of being yelled at and told I was wrong.). Due to this, I am known as being indecisive, though in reality I am simply scared.
