That is actually a complicated question. When I first started about 30 years ago, I got a check for 1/10 of my stated salary from the salary schedule the 30th of every month that I was teaching. For 2 months a year, I got nothing. Then they changed it, I was paid 1/13th of my salary on the schedule every 4 weeks, whether I was teaching or not.
