He said he had graded the first question and it was obvious I understood the material and it was very good work … Maybe an A but he didn’t think so. I looked him (with scorn) an said “Then I don’t think so either” and walked away. He didn’t feel he could justify less than a “B” but I surely wasn’t going to get the “A” I deserved. And of course I got a “B” for the class.
