Dance at my party shirt

Elementary kids don’t always understand. A teacher conference usually helps and straightens it out. I remember as a 5th grader I got an N in effort, but I was making straight A’s. I asked my Daddy to meet with my teacher to find out why. He did and she said, while I “was” making straight A’s, I was rushing through my work and making careless mistakes and I was capable of doing better. Problem solved. You should always start with the teacher and work your way up from there.
