Guinea pig Christmas shirt, sweater

I asked my son if they had gone over the different meanings of the words in class and they said no. And the spelling exercises didn't change! They were still having the kids copy the words three times and do “pyramids” (another copying exercise). That is not going to help them tell the difference in the words at all! I was so freaking frustrated. I had him do alternative stuff like drawing pictures to illustrate the words, and coming up with fun ways to remember the difference.
