My kids are 16 and 18 and this has only happened once and we definitely took my child’s side and my child knew it! He was 12 at the time so old enough to clearly tell me the circumstances. Considering he excused himself from class for a restroom break and called me crying (he rarely cries) I took him Very Seriously! The teacher had called him a, “Liar! Liar! Liar!” loudly from across the classroom.
