We HAD to get off, soon the transmission would blow. By now, even the engine had succumbed and was overheating terribly …steam was billowing out from under the hood. I could feel tears welling in my eyes as I had to admit, this was the stupidest adventure I had ever embarked on in my young life. Why didn't my parents stop me? Why didn't they tell me what we would be in for? Mind you, never in a 100 years, would they had suspected that we would have ended up taking the Coquihalla home.
